A village setting, not a lawn
Mud-plastered cottages, a village yard and craft demonstrations give the day a rural frame. It is a recreated farm experience, not a heritage village, and that distinction matters when you compare it with other spots.
A 35-acre village-themed farm in Jhajjar, Haryana, where the day is built around rural activities, open grounds, rides and food served from breakfast to the last snack — not a single lawn with a lunch counter.

Manesar Resorts is an independent trip-planning and booking-assistance website. We are not the official website of Pratapgarh Farms and do not confirm entry on the farm's behalf.
Pratapgarh Farms sits on Gwalison Road near Jhajjar railway station, in Jhajjar district, Haryana. It opened in 2008 and has grown into a 35-acre rural tourism campus rather than a conventional picnic garden: mud-plastered cottages, a working farm section, a village craft yard, a carnival area and an adventure course all share the same grounds.
The format is deliberately open. You enter in the morning, breakfast is served from 9:30 am, and beyond that there is no fixed schedule — you move between the adventure course, the playing fields, the animals, the craft demonstrations and the food counters at your own pace until the gates close at 5:30 pm.
That makes it a good fit for a family with children of different ages, a group of relatives meeting for the day, a school or college outing, or a corporate group that wants the team outdoors rather than in a banquet hall. It suits people who enjoy doing things — rope elements, games, cart rides, pottery — more than those looking for a quiet lawn and a spa.
Before you plan, there are three things worth confirming rather than assuming: the rate for your specific date, exactly what your ticket or package includes, and whether the activities you care about are running that day. Weather, maintenance and group size all affect the answer. That is the part we help with by phone.
Six things the farm genuinely offers, based on what it publishes about its own grounds and programme. Each one is worth checking against your date when you enquire.
Mud-plastered cottages, a village yard and craft demonstrations give the day a rural frame. It is a recreated farm experience, not a heritage village, and that distinction matters when you compare it with other spots.
The farm describes more than 150 activities across adventure elements, sports, indoor games, carnival rides and rural crafts. Participation is the point, so children and adults are occupied rather than watching.
Small children have a play park, rides and animal enclosures; teenagers head for the adventure course and sports; older guests usually settle into the gardens, the cart rides and the food counters.
The farm states it can host up to 5,000 guests in a day and handles school and corporate bookings separately, with group pricing starting above 20 people. Large groups are normal here, not an exception.
Breakfast, lunch and between-meal counters are part of the published day ticket, so you are not budgeting separately for every meal — a real difference when you are pricing a group of twenty.
Thirty-five acres means the adventure course, playing fields, water bodies, gardens and animal enclosures do not all compete for the same corner. It also means comfortable shoes matter more than a picnic mat.
One honest caveat: a large, popular farm on a weekend is a busy farm. If your group includes people who dislike queues or crowds, ask us about the quieter days and the reporting time before you fix a date.
The farm groups its programme into adventure, sports, carnival, village craft, agriculture and gardens. Below is the shape of it, with a clear note on what is reliably part of the day and what depends on weather, maintenance or your package.
Rope and obstacle elements for anyone who wants a physical hour. Height and age rules are set by the farm's instructors on the day.
Best for: teenagers and adults. Confirm weight, height and footwear rules when you book.
The part that makes this a farm visit rather than an activity park. Demonstrations are hands-on and usually guided by staff from the surrounding villages.
Best for: children, grandparents and anyone who wants a slower half hour.
Camel, bullock cart and tractor rides cross the farm, with a toy train for younger children. A dairy and poultry section sits alongside.
Animal rides can be paused without notice for the animals' welfare or maintenance.
Equipment is provided, and the farm does not allow visitors to bring their own playing gear. Indoor games are a useful fallback in rain or peak heat.
Best for: mixed groups that split up and regroup at lunch.
Boating on the lake, the rain dance area, mud bath and tubewell bath are seasonal in practice. Carry a change of clothes and a towel if these matter to you.
Ask specifically about these for your month — they are the first things to be affected by weather.
Two museums and a set of themed gardens give the day a quieter rhythm, and they are indoors or shaded when the afternoon gets hot.
Best for: school groups with a learning brief, and anyone avoiding the sun.
Three ways groups usually plan the day. These are suggested planning formats from Manesar Resorts, not officially published Pratapgarh Farms packages. What is finally available, and at what price, is confirmed with the farm for your date before you commit.
For parents, children and grandparents spending one day together.

Price varies with date, the number of adults and children, and whether you book online or at the gate.

Group pricing, advance terms and cancellation conditions are set by the farm and confirmed in writing before payment.

Custom arrangements are quoted individually and are subject to the farm's confirmation, not to a standard rate card.
What affects the price: the date and day of the week, the adult-to-child ratio, total group size, the booking channel used, and any arrangement added on top of the standard day. Nothing on this page is a quotation, and no discount is promised until the farm confirms it.
The entry fee is the day ticket. It is not the same thing as the total cost of a group outing, and it is not a package rate. Here is what the farm published when we checked, so you have a real starting point rather than a guess.
| Visitor category | Published rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Adult, 10 years and above | ₹1,450 | Inclusive of GST, as published |
| Child, 5 to 10 years | ₹820 | Inclusive of GST, as published |
| Child below 5 years | Complimentary | Maximum two children per couple |
| Groups above 20 | On request | Group rate and advance terms confirmed by the farm |
| Accompanying driver's meal | ₹150 | Meal only; drivers are not admitted to the activity areas |
Pratapgarh Farms ticket prices and entry fees may change. Contact Manesar Resorts for current pricing, package inclusions and availability before planning your visit.
A ticket buys entry to the farm and the standard inclusions. A package price is a total for your group on your date, and it should be read line by line: how many adults, how many children, what food, which activities, what taxes, and what happens if the headcount changes. If a quote does not break that down, ask before paying.
The farm runs a single kitchen serving Haryanvi village-style food, and states that the day ticket covers unlimited food from breakfast onwards. That is the farm's own description — the menu rotates with the season, and specific dishes are not guaranteed on your date.
Breakfast, 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Stuffed paranthas with white butter, poori chole or chole bhature, a seasonal sabji, curd, pickle and chutney — the kind of breakfast meant to carry you to a late lunch.
Lunch, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Rotis, rice or pulao, rajma, a seasonal saag or vegetable, paneer, kadhi, raita, salad and a halwa. Served buffet-style, and described by the farm as unlimited.
Between meals. Counters through the day for shikanji, chaach, tea and pakoras, jalebi, kadhai doodh, bajra and makki roti with ghee, plus chaat and a couple of sweets. These are the counters children remember.
| Meals | Breakfast, lunch and between-meal counters included in the published day ticket |
|---|---|
| Equipment | Provided for games and activities; outside playing gear is not permitted |
| Bottled water | Not included; sold at the counter |
| Cold drinks | Not included; sold at the counter |
| Alcohol | Not permitted on the farm |
| Special diets | Jain, vegan and gluten-free arrangements are not published — ask before booking |
If anyone in your group has a food allergy or a medical dietary need, tell us at the enquiry stage. It is far easier to plan around than to solve at the counter.
Please note: "unlimited" is the farm's description of its service, not a guarantee that every counter is open all day. On busy dates some counters run shorter hours. Confirm any inclusion you are specifically counting on for your group.
The farm publishes a single full-day window rather than staggered slots. Arriving at opening gives you the morning on the adventure course and playing fields, lunch in the early afternoon, and the village side of the farm after that.
Reporting time, last entry and activity cut-offs before closing are not published. If you are travelling a long distance, or your group has small children, ask us to confirm the practical arrival window for your date rather than aiming for the last hour.
Please confirm the latest Pratapgarh Farms timings and reporting time with Manesar Resorts before departure. Schedules can shift on holidays, in bad weather, or when a large group is on the farm.

The farm is a full-day outing. A half-day visit usually means choosing between the adventure side and the village side, and it rarely feels like enough.
The farm is in Jhajjar district, Haryana, on the western edge of the Delhi NCR travel belt. It is a rural district setting — fields, village roads and small towns — not a city resort address.
Pratapgarh Farms
Gwalison Road, near Jhajjar railway station
Jhajjar, Haryana 124103
India
This is the address the farm publishes on its own contact page. Use it as written when you plan the route or share it with a driver.
District: Jhajjar · State: Haryana · PIN: 124103
The farm is about 4 km from Jhajjar town and roughly 15 km from Bhindawas Bird Sanctuary, both figures taken from the farm's own description of its location. Jhajjar town is the nearest practical reference point for fuel, pharmacies and last-minute supplies.
The approach is on highway-connected roads, and the final stretch runs through the district's rural roads. Mobile signal is generally fine, but it is worth downloading your route before you leave the highway rather than relying on it in the last few kilometres.
We deliberately do not quote a driving time from Delhi, Gurgaon or any other city on this page. Traffic on the NH-48 corridor and the Jhajjar road varies enormously by hour and day, and a number printed here would be wrong more often than right. Ask us for guidance based on your starting point and your date.
Three practical options. Whichever you choose, give the driver the full address above rather than the farm's name alone.
The most flexible option for families, and the one most visitors use. The farm provides free enclosed parking inside the campus, at the owner's risk. Plan to arrive at opening so the day is not compressed.
A return cab is easier than a one-way drop, because the farm is in a rural district and cabs are not always waiting at the gate. Agree the waiting time and the return fare before you start.
The farm sits near Jhajjar railway station, which makes a train-plus-short-cab plan possible. Check current train timings yourself before committing, and arrange the last leg in advance.
One thing to sort before you leave: a photo identity card for at least one adult in the group is required at entry, and identity proof for children below ten is stated as mandatory. Keep both handy rather than packed in the boot.
We are a trip-planning and booking-assistance service, not the farm's official booking channel. Our role is to get you accurate answers and a confirmed arrangement, and to tell you plainly when something cannot be confirmed.
Use the Manesar Resorts number on this page. Tell us the date you have in mind and roughly how many adults and children are coming.
Ticket rate for your date, what the day includes, whether the farm has availability, and whether any activity you specifically want is running.
Adults, children, food, activities, taxes and anything charged separately. No lump sum without an explanation.
Payment terms, advance requirement, reporting time and cancellation conditions are explained before any money changes hands.
We share the final details in writing. Entry and availability remain subject to the farm's own confirmation and policies.
On association: Manesar Resorts is not the owner, operator or authorised booking partner of Pratapgarh Farms, and nothing on this page should be read as an official endorsement by the farm. We assist with planning and enquiries, and we tell you when a detail has to come directly from the farm.
Most disappointment at a day-outing destination comes from an assumption, not a failure. Work through this list once, and the day runs smoothly.
The questions people actually ask before booking a day here. Where a detail is set by the farm and changes over time, the answer tells you to confirm it rather than inventing a figure.
It is a 35-acre farm tourism destination in Jhajjar district, Haryana, on Gwalison Road near Jhajjar railway station. The day is built around village-themed activities, rides, adventure elements and food served from morning to evening, rather than a single lawn or a restaurant visit. It opened in 2008 and describes itself as one of the earliest farm tourism projects in the country.
The farm's own ticket pages, checked on 23 October 2026, list ₹1,450 per adult aged 10 and above and ₹820 per child aged 5 to 10, inclusive of GST. Children below five are complimentary, up to two per couple. These are the farm's published rates and can change by date, so confirm the figure for your visit before paying anything.
The entry fee is the day ticket, which the farm states covers entry, its activities, food through the day and taxes. A package price is different: it is a total for your group on your date, and it depends on headcount, the adult-to-child split and any arrangement added for you. Always ask what a quoted total includes instead of assuming it matches the ticket rate.
The farm publishes day tickets and handles school and corporate group bookings separately, with group pricing starting above 20 people. The Family Day Outing, Group Picnic Package and Customised Day Outing shown on this page are suggested planning formats from Manesar Resorts, not officially published farm packages. Each is quoted only after we check what the farm can offer for your date.
The farm lists more than 150 activities across an adventure course, outdoor and indoor games, carnival rides, a children's play park, camel, bullock cart and tractor rides, a village craft yard with pottery and handloom work, a dairy and poultry section, themed gardens and two museums. Boating, the rain dance and the mud bath depend on weather and maintenance, so confirm them for your date.
Gates open at 9:30 am and close at 5:30 pm on all seven days, according to the farm, with breakfast from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and lunch from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Reporting time and last entry are not published, so confirm them with Manesar Resorts before you set out, particularly if you are travelling a long distance.
Yes — it is designed around families. The children's play park, rides, puppet and magic shows, animal enclosures and craft activities sit alongside the adventure course and open grounds, and the farm serves a shared menu rather than separate paid outlets. Families with older guests tend to spend the day in the gardens, the village yard and on the cart rides. Note that the farm does not permit stag entry.
The published day ticket states that unlimited food through the day is included, covering breakfast, lunch and counters in between. Bottled water and cold drinks are charged separately, and alcohol is not permitted. Jain, vegan and gluten-free cooking is not published as available, so mention any dietary requirement at the enquiry stage rather than at the counter.
Call +91 85274 80066 with your preferred date and the number of adults and children. We check current rates, inclusions and availability with the farm, explain the total cost and the payment terms, and you decide after that. Booking confirmation and entry remain subject to the farm's own availability, identity requirements and policies.

We do not quote driving times from Delhi or Gurgaon because traffic varies so widely — ask us for guidance from your starting point.
