Mayur Vihar · East Delhi
Ropes, ziplines and open lake-side ground in the middle of East Delhi — a full day out that does not need a highway drive. This page explains what the park actually offers, what to check before you go, and how Manesar Resorts helps families, schools and groups put a picnic plan together.
Manesar Resorts is an independent picnic planning and booking assistance service. We do not own or operate EOD Adventure Park, and park entry, activity charges, rides and timings remain under the park’s own management.
Overview
EOD Adventure Park is an outdoor adventure and recreation park on the edge of Sanjay Lake in Mayur Vihar, East Delhi. It is part of the Every Other Day Parks group, which runs similar adventure parks in Ghaziabad and Agra, and the Mayur Vihar branch is the one Delhi families reach without crossing the city. The name is a play on “every other day” — the idea being that a day out here is worth repeating.
What makes it unusual as a picnic spot is the combination. Most Delhi picnic grounds give you grass, shade and a place to sit. EOD adds a ropes and zipline circuit, a trampoline park and a laser tag arena, so a family with children of different ages has something for everyone rather than one activity that only half the group enjoys. The lake setting keeps the day outdoors rather than indoor-arcade.
It is not a quiet garden, and it is not a resort with lawns and a buffet. It is a working adventure park with ticketed activities, safety rules and a fixed closing time. Plan around that and it works well; arrive without checking anything and you can lose an hour to queues or find the activity your child wanted is closed for maintenance.
That is where a planned picnic helps. Knowing which activities suit your group, which entry rule applies, how long to allow and what food arrangements are possible turns a hit-or-miss outing into a comfortable day — especially when you are bringing twenty schoolchildren or a mixed-age family group.

Location & setting
The park is inside the Sanjay Lake grounds in Mayur Vihar, on the Delhi side of the Ghaziabad border. The address the park publishes is:

Two metro stations are commonly used for this park. Trilokpuri–Sanjay Lake on the Pink Line is the station named after the lake itself, and Mayur Vihar Phase-1 on the Blue and Pink lines is the larger interchange nearby. Which one is closer depends on the exit gate you use, so check the walking route on a map before you set out and allow for a short auto or e-rickshaw ride from either station.
By road, the park is reached from the Mayur Vihar and Patparganj side of East Delhi, with the Ghaziabad border close by. Traffic on the approach roads builds through the morning, so a start close to opening time is easier than a midday arrival.
The Sanjay Lake grounds are a large green pocket in a dense part of East Delhi. That matters for a picnic: there is shade and open space around the ticketed area, the lake keeps the temperature a little kinder than a concrete park, and the scale of the complex means a group can spread out instead of crowding one lawn.
Things to do
The Mayur Vihar branch is built around a core set of adventure and recreation activities. The five below are the ones the park promotes for this branch; the rest of the list is commonly offered at the park but should be confirmed for your date, because individual activities close for maintenance, weather or low footfall.
An elevated obstacle circuit strung between poles and trees, crossed with harnesses and safety lines. The signature activity here, and the one that takes the longest to complete.
A harnessed ride down a fixed cable, taken one at a time. Short in duration but the activity most visitors remember. The park lists a maximum weight of 100 kg for the zipline.
A pedal-powered cycle suspended on a cable, so you ride across the gap rather than slide down it. More effort and more control than a zipline; the park lists a maximum weight of 75 kg.
A padded trampoline zone that suits younger children and mixed groups, and one of the few activities where adults and kids can jump together without a weight cut-off.
A team-based arena game, usually played in short rounds. The best activity for corporate groups and teenage friend groups, because it works as a competition rather than a queue.
A sprinkler-and-music zone that runs in season. Popular with school and college groups in summer; carry a change of clothes and check that it is operating before you plan the day around it.
Static target archery with instructors on the line. A good low-impact option for grandparents, parents who would rather not do heights, and children below the zipline limit.
Paddle and pedal boats on the lake, when the lake side is open for them. Priced and operated separately from the adventure circuit, and weather dependent.
Why here
Most Delhi picnic plans fail on one of two things: there is nothing to do after lunch, or the venue suits one age group and bores the rest. An adventure park addresses both, provided you choose activities with the group in mind.
You are not choosing between an activity day and a sit-down picnic. The park gives you the activity; the lake grounds give you somewhere to eat, rest and let the children run.
With height and weight limits on the big rides, the park naturally splits a mixed group: teenagers queue for the zipline while younger children use the trampoline and grandparents take archery or the shade.
No highway drive, no toll, no half-day lost in transit. For East Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad families this is a genuine full-day outing within a normal commute.
Tickets are sold per activity or as combos, so a group that only wants two rides does not pay for a full circuit it will not use. That keeps the per-head cost controllable.
One address, one gate, one closing time. Compared with coordinating a farmhouse, a lake and a restaurant on the same day, a single-venue plan is far easier to run with teachers or team leads.
Outdoor activities stop in rain, but the lake grounds and covered areas still give you somewhere to sit. Plan a wet-weather alternative and the day is not lost to a forecast.
Picnic planning options
These are picnic planning options put together by Manesar Resorts for an EOD Adventure Park visit — not official EOD Parks packages. Park entry and activity charges stay with the park and are quoted at their current rate; our role is to plan the day, coordinate the group and confirm what is actually available for your date.
Families and small family groups
A relaxed day plan for parents, children and grandparents, built so that nobody spends the afternoon waiting for somebody else.
Schools, coaching centres and student groups
A supervised group visit planned around class size, age band and the activities your students can actually use.
Teams, associations and large groups
A team day that gives people something to do together rather than a conference room with a buffet.
Friends and young adult groups
A weekend plan for a group of friends who want the high-adrenaline activities and a fixed budget per head.
Get a customised quotation based on group size, date and selected requirements. Meals, transport and specific activities are included only when they are written into your confirmed plan — nothing is implied.
Costs & charges
This is the part of the planning most people get wrong: there is no single flat “entry fee” that covers the park. EOD sells activity-based tickets, and the park requires every guest to buy at least one activity to enter. Two groups of the same size can therefore pay very different amounts on the same day.
Expect the total to be built from three layers. First, the activity ticket you choose — a single activity, a small combination, or a larger combo that covers several attractions. Second, any add-ons priced separately, such as boating, or the paid permission for professional camera equipment. Third, food and beverages bought inside the park, which are never part of an activity ticket.
Rates also move. Weekday and weekend pricing can differ, seasonal and festival offers appear, and the park revises its activity pricing from time to time. That is exactly why this page does not print a number: a rate published here could be wrong by the time you travel, and we would rather you plan on the correct figure.
Group and student rates exist in some form at most parks, but they are offered on specific terms and change with headcount and season. We do not publish a school or group discount figure because we cannot verify one as current — we ask the park for your date and give you the answer in writing.

For families
A family picnic here works best when you stop trying to do everything together. The park is spread across activity zones with separate queues, so the realistic plan is to split for an hour, regroup to eat, and split again. That is not a compromise — it is how you avoid an afternoon of one child crying at the foot of a ride they are too small for.
Start by matching children to activities by eligibility, not by enthusiasm. The zipline and zip cycle have weight limits that rule out many younger children and some adults, and height requirements apply across the adventure circuit. Trampoline, archery and the open grounds absorb the children who cannot use the big rides, and they are usually the ones who need entertaining longest.
Build the day around a fixed meal time. Because outside food is restricted to water, baby food and fruit, a family picnic at EOD is less about unpacking tiffins on the grass and more about buying food inside or eating before and after. That changes the packing list: carry water, wipes, a change of clothes for the rain-dance zone, and cash or a card rather than a hamper.
Finally, give yourself a buffer. Arrive close to 11:00 AM when the park opens, do the high-demand rides first, eat in the early afternoon, and leave by 5:00 PM if you have young children. A five-hour visit done well beats an eight-hour visit that ends in a meltdown.
Whether a three-year-old needs a ticket, whether grandparents can simply sit while others ride, and whether the whole family must buy the same combo. These are exactly the details we confirm with the park before you pay, so the plan matches the ages actually travelling.

For schools
A school trip is a logistics exercise before it is a fun day. The park can host student groups, but the arrangements that make it safe and predictable — headcount, eligibility, supervision, meals and timing — all have to be settled in advance, in writing.
Fix the final number of students and teachers early. Group the students into blocks of ten with a named teacher per block, so the park staff and your team work from the same list.
Collect heights and ages before you book. A class of eight-year-olds cannot use the same circuit as fourteen-year-olds, and discovering that at the gate wastes the day.
Decide how many teachers and support staff attend, and how students move between zones. Agree where the group assembles if someone is separated.
Outside food is restricted, so a school meal has to be arranged with the park in advance. Confirm portions, serving time, allergies and the per-student cost in writing.
A 11:00 AM opening suits a late-morning departure. Plan the return journey against the closing time rather than assuming the group can stay until 8:00 PM.
Get the group rate, inclusions, cancellation terms and supervisory conditions confirmed by the park before collecting money from parents.
For groups
Groups fail on details, not on enthusiasm. The questions that decide whether a 40-person outing runs smoothly are unglamorous: who arrives first, who holds the tickets, what happens if ten people drop out, and where the group eats at 1:30 PM.
Group size. A confirmed headcount with a small buffer, and a clear rule on whether drop-outs are refundable. Park tickets are non-refundable, so this matters more than most organisers expect.
Preferred date. Weekends are busier and priced differently from weekdays in many parks. If your group has flexibility, a weekday visit often gives shorter queues and a calmer day for the same activities.
Activity preferences. Not everyone wants the zipline. We map the group into thrill-seekers, casual participants and non-riders, then match that to the park’s activity set and any combo that fits.
Applicable ticket charges. Quoted from the park’s current rate for your date and headcount — not from a figure on a blog. Any add-on is listed separately.
Additional requirements. Meals, a covered seating area, a cake, a short announcement, accessibility needs, or a late arrival for part of the group. These are the items that quietly break a plan, so they get listed and confirmed.
Only after all five are verified does the booking get confirmed — and we say so plainly when something is still pending.

Simple process
Four steps, in this order. Nothing is treated as booked until step four is actually confirmed.
Call or WhatsApp +91 85274 80066 and tell us it is an EOD Adventure Park outing. We take it from there.
Give us the preferred date, the number of adults and children, and the age range. If your date is flexible, tell us — it often improves both availability and cost.
We check the applicable entry and activity requirements, explain the realistic options for your group, and set out the charges with inclusions and exclusions clearly separated.
Once every detail is verified with the park — activities, timings, meals, headcount — the arrangement is confirmed. Before that point, consider the plan provisional.
Before you go
Practical, slightly boring, and the difference between a good day and a wasted one.
The setting
These are photographs of the Sanjay Lake grounds in Mayur Vihar where the park is located, so you can see the setting before you plan. They are not photographs of the park’s rides and activity equipment — we do not publish images of attractions we cannot authenticate.

Questions
EOD Adventure Park is at Gate No. 2, Sanjay Lake, Pocket D, Mayur Vihar, New Delhi, Delhi 110091. The park sits beside Sanjay Lake in East Delhi, and the two metro stations most often used for it are Trilokpuri–Sanjay Lake on the Pink Line and Mayur Vihar Phase-1 on the Blue and Pink lines. Confirm the gate and walking route on the day you travel.
EOD sells activity-based tickets rather than a single flat gate fee, so the amount you pay depends on which activity or combination you choose, the day of the week and any running offer. Rates change from time to time, so this page does not publish a figure. Confirm the current applicable rate for your date at the ticket counter or helpline before you travel, and ask us for a written quotation if you are booking for a group.
The park’s own FAQ lists the Mayur Vihar branch as open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, on all days of the week including Sundays. The park also states that timings are subject to change, so check the current timing for your date before leaving home. Last entry is not the same as closing time, so ask at the counter if you are travelling late.
EOD’s Mayur Vihar branch promotes zipline, zip cycle, tree-top course, trampoline park and laser tag among its attractions, alongside other adventure and recreation activities across the park. Not every activity runs every day, and some close for maintenance or weather. Treat the list on this page as a planning guide and confirm availability for your specific date before you book.
Yes, it works well as a day outing for families because adventure activities, open-air space and the Sanjay Lake setting sit in one place. The main planning points are age, height and weight limits on individual activities, the ban on outside food apart from water, baby food and fruit, and the need to keep an eye on younger children. Confirm which activities your children are eligible for before you buy.
Schools can plan a group visit, but every arrangement needs to be confirmed with the park in advance. That covers student headcount, age and height eligibility for each activity, teacher supervision ratios, meal arrangements and the applicable group rate. We do not publish school discounts because we cannot verify them; ask for the current group terms in writing before you commit.
Yes. Manesar Resorts puts together group picnic plans for corporate teams, friends, associations and extended families, built around the park’s current activity options. A plan can cover date coordination, headcount, activity preferences, ticket and activity information, and optional refreshments where available. The final scope and price are confirmed only after the park’s current terms are checked for your date.
Call or WhatsApp Manesar Resorts on +91 85274 80066. Share your preferred date, the number of adults and children, and the kind of outing you want. We check the applicable entry and activity requirements, discuss suitable options, and confirm arrangements once every detail has been verified with the park.
No. The park requires a guest to purchase at least one activity to enter, and different activities and combos carry different charges. Several add-ons, such as boating or paid photography permission, are priced separately. Check exactly what your ticket covers at the counter before paying, and read the inclusions on any combo you buy.
Check the current timings and opening days, confirm that the activities you want are running, verify height, age and weight limits, note that outside food is restricted, carry comfortable clothing and closed footwear, keep tickets non-refundable in mind, and check the weather because outdoor activities stop in rain. For groups, also confirm the cancellation terms and the exact gate for arrival.
